Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, business name, website URL, industry, budget selections, messages via contact forms, email, WhatsApp, or the on-site Digital Growth Advisor, and payment-related identifiers when you purchase services (processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers).
We automatically collect technical data when you use this website: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referral source. Security tools (for example Wordfence, when enabled) may log IP addresses and request metadata to prevent abuse.
Free Brand Summary & scan data
When you run the Free Brand Summary at /scan/, we process the website URL you submit and may fetch and analyse publicly available pages (homepage and linked About/Contact pages where found), robots.txt, sitemap, and llms.txt signals. We store crawl-derived scores, issue lists, and optional intake fields (name, email, business name, “known for” positioning, and social profile URLs you provide) to deliver your complimentary assessment, personalise a paid AI Search Blueprint™ if you purchase one, and follow up on enquiries.
Operational retention: scan result cache typically up to about 24 hours; lead/handoff records typically about 7 days (may extend to about 30 days after a paid unlock). We do not retain full crawled HTML after the response is generated. We do not use the free scan to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
If you purchase via Stripe, payment status and transaction identifiers are processed by Stripe; we receive confirmation needed to unlock your paid Success Plan — not your full card number.
Digital Growth Advisor (on-site chat)
Our on-site Digital Growth Advisor processes the messages you send and may infer a silent visitor profile (for example business type, location, website, CMS, goals, frustrations, and interest stage) so we do not re-ask known details. That profile is held in your browser sessionStorage for the session and may be sent with each chat turn. Starting a new conversation clears local session history and profile.
If you share name and email for a personalised summary or follow-up, we store a chat lead (including profile fields and a transcript excerpt), email the studio, and may sync the contact to our CRM with source tag source:chat. Chat messages may be processed by third-party AI providers (see Subprocessors) to generate replies. Outputs are directional guidance — not legal, financial, or professional advice. See Disclaimers.
AI & Automated Processing
We use automated systems including crawl-based scoring, AI-assisted report generation, and the Digital Growth Advisor. These systems process URLs, page content, and messages you submit to provide directional visibility guidance. Outputs are not used for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Where third-party AI providers are used (for example via OpenRouter routing to models such as Google Gemini), data is processed under their terms and appropriate safeguards where applicable.
How We Use Data
We use your information to deliver consultancy services and free tools, respond to enquiries, process orders, send service-related communications, improve our website and tools, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Lawful bases under UK GDPR: contract performance (or steps prior to contract), legitimate interests (operating and securing our business, B2B follow-up on warm tool leads), and consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies or marketing emails).

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Essential cookies support site functionality. Analytics cookies, if enabled, help us understand usage and load only after consent where required. Chat session data uses browser sessionStorage (not a persistent marketing cookie).

Providers process data under their terms and appropriate safeguards. International transfers (for example to the United States for certain AI or CRM providers), if any, use mechanisms recognised under UK GDPR where required (e.g. adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses offered by the provider).
Retention
Lead and enquiry data (including Digital Growth Advisor leads): typically up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for active client relationships or legal claims. Invoice and accounting records: up to 7 years as required by UK tax law. Free Brand Summary scan cache: about 24 hours; scan lead/handoff: about 7 days (about 30 days after paid unlock). Chat sessionStorage: until you clear it or start a new conversation. Newsletter contacts: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Your Rights
If you are in the UK or EEA, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, and data portability where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based. You may lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
